Coachella // Hip Hop
Chris Portugal and Mike Turner of People Under The Stairs

Golden Voice picked some solid, but safe Hip-Hop for this year’s Coachella festival. There is no bullshit bling featured on the bill. They focused on signing some of the best live artists out today. Public Enemy is a given, but you don’t want to miss N.A.S.A, Atmosphere, Peanut Butter Wolf or LA’s finest, People Under The Stairs. If I had to choose one, I would go with N.A.S.A (North American/South America). Their recent album The Spirit of Apollo features collaborations with Karen O, David Byrne, Chuck D, Gift Of Gab, Chali 2na, Seu Jorge, RZA, KRS-One, Method Man, Tom Waits, George Clinton, M.I.A., Scarface and Ghostface Killah to name a few. Another one to keep an eye on is K’NANN.
