Gorillaz, Jay-Z, and Muse will headline Coachella, set to take place from April 16-18 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Other key acts scheduled to appear include The Soft Pack, Deer Tick, The Almighty Defenders, The Avett Brothers, Pavement, Thom Yorke, Spoon, King Khan & The Shrines, and Sly & the Family Stone. Due to budgetary constraints, Rollo & Grady will not be attending tomorrow’s festivities in Indio. If I were attending the event, I would catch the shows listed below. Truth be told, I most likely wouldn’t roll in until People Under The Stairs set. The Black Keys is the can’t miss show of the day, followed by N.A.S.A.

PRNewswire — Greyhound is offering a $39 round-trip fare for customers traveling to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. This one-time discounted fare is available Thursday, April 16 through Tuesday, April 21 for customers traveling to Indio, Calif., or Palm Springs, Calif., from several Southern California cities.

“We are excited to be able to provide transportation to music and art enthusiasts who want to travel to the Coachella Festival,” said Gary Graley, vice president, revenue development. “We understand these are difficult economic times and customers are looking for ways to save money, and Greyhound has a long standing history of providing safe and economical travel.”

The Indio Police Department has issued a traffic advisory from 10 a.m. Friday through midnight Sunday during the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at the Empire Polo grounds.
