Strut Records Information Inspiration series is the product of spontaneous collaborations between two musical forces. Past contributions have come from Sly & Robbie & Amp Fiddler, Horace Andy & Ashley Beedle, Mulatu Astatke & The Heliocentrics. Strut’s latest series will feature legendary Fela Kuti drummer and Afrobeat pioneer Tony Allen paired with Finnish experimental musician Jimi Tenor. “Selfish Gene” is off of Information Inspiration – Volume #4 due out October 27th.
