Kiss, U2 and Paramore are bizarre choices. The overall list is solid.

Where is I and Love and You by the Avett Brothers, should be in top 40, deserves top 10.

I think KISS is there because after 11 years since the last album, people had forgot that the KISS brand could actually make an album. It nods to KISS’ collective past, and celebrates it all on one album. While it is nothing groundbraking, if you take the blinkers off, it is a decent rock record & they should be proud. Fair play to SPIN. As for U2 – i’m as bemused as everyone else..

Spin included Kiss so they would be mentioned on music blogs, and then people might realize Spin Magazine still exists.
