After seeing this list I’m not sure why I still have a subscription to RS. How can any self-respecting music fan have Springsteen and U2 1-2 as well as The-Dream in the Top 10 and Backspacer at 11. I love Pearl Jam, but maybe it falls somewhere in the 20’s. This list would seem more realistic if you told me it was upside-down.

What happened to Alice in Chain’s black gives way to blue? This is truly one of the best albums in years, let alone in 2009. I was in London’s Brixton Academy last December and I thought their life performance was outstanding, both powerful and emotive. What a comeback! You cannot seriously exclude this album from the top 25!
