National Record Store Day
I’ve done my part supporting National Record Store Day. I bought the Laurel Canyon Soundtrack (used), MC Mastercuts presents The Essential Funkadelic and MC Mastercuts Presents Sly In The Family Stone at Amoeba Records in Hollywood. It’s a bit crowded, but that’s the point. Amoeba has such a great environment. They have DJ sets by Wendy and Lisa and DJ Babu, plus live T-shirt silk-screening by Family Industries until 6pm today.
Drop by and support one of the following participating Indie Record Stores:
Atomic Records (Burbank), Bombass Muzik, Buffalo Records (Ventura), Fat Beats, Freakbeat Records (Sherman Oaks), Headline Records, Midnight Records, Origami Vinyl, Penny Lane Records (Pasadena), Rockaway Records, V.I.P. Records (Long Beach), VIP Music, Vision Records.
MP3: TV On The Radio – Wolf Like Me (Live @ Amoeba Hollywood)
MP3: Band Of Horses – Am I A Good Man? [Live @ Amoeba Hollywood]
MP3: The Black Lips – Lock & Key (Live @ Amoeba Hollywood)
MP3: Funkadelic – (Not Just) Knee Deep (Part 1)
