Hill Country Revue is being billed as the modern Southern Rock & Blues band for the new generation. Formed by Cody Dickinson and Chris Chew from The North Mississippi All-Stars in February 2008, it features Kirk Smithhart, Ed “Hot” Cleveland and Dixie Dan Coburn. The band’s debut studio album, Make A Move, will released by Razor & Tie on May 12th. The majority of the material on the album was written by Garry Burnside, the youngest son of legendary Mississippi bluesman R.L. Burnside. They’re playing tonight at the Georgia Theatre in Athens.
