Congrats to the ladies of Warpaint for winning the top spot on NME’s “The 10 Biggest Buzzes At SXSW” list. The band has benefited greatly from several months of touring, and have taken their game to a new level with the addition of drummer Stella Mozgawa. They are playing an intimate gig at the Bootleg Theater on Saturday, May 8th.

New Deer Tick Album & LA Tour Dates
Deer Tick is set to release a new album, The Black Dirt Sessions, on June 8th via Partisan Records. They will be performing with Everest at the Natural History Museum on March 5th, and will return as an opener for Dr. Dog at The Music Box @ The Fonda on April 27th.
