Aloe Blacc :: Truth & Soul

Aloe+Blacc

During my interview last year with Leon Michels, co-founder of Truth & Soul Records and frontman of El Michels Affair, he raved about this guy Aloe Blacc. He sent me an exclusive remix with Blacc joining Lee Fields on the track “Truth, Deception, & Lies.” I guess he was right, Blacc’s recent track “I Need A Dollar” debuted as the theme song to the HBO series, How To Make It In America. It’s also the lead single from Blacc’s forthcoming album Good Things, produced by Truth & Soul, and featuring the backing band known as Expressions and El Michels Affair.
