Oh man, what a way to cap off the week! You nailed it…our lists are a lot alike. I think there might be a bit of a misprint on the #2 artist though. If you get the chance then I should be hitting my top 10 by tomorrow on http://meatysauce.com . Thanks again for your writing and introduction to new tunes all year long.

I’m not gonna deny there are some great songs on this top 100 list 7 that was a lofty task for you, but how could you fail to include a single song off the Kills excellent Blood Pressures album?!Especially after using Allison Mosshart’s picture as #7 and including several posts on the Kills in the years past on this very blog!

Hey Nick: You know I’m a huge Kills fan. But I’m not a fan of Blood Pressures.

I love the Kills with all my heart. Jamie didn’t get enough time with Alison b/c Dead Weather.

By “didn’t get enough time…” are you talking studio time to churn out a better album in your opinion or what?Maybe Jamie didn’t get enough time w/ Alison because he was spending too much with Kate Moss.Hey I made my own top 50 songs of 2011 & while we did share a couple of songs on both lists,I couldn’t find a song better in 2011 than the Kills’ “Future Starts Slow”!Otherwise I love this blog & keep up the good work!

I assembled my list of 25 or so songs of 2011 and knew it wasn’t complete. I kept wondering what I’d been missing. Now I know. As a being more badass and yet less human than I once said… I’ll be back.
