The Sky Drops // Bourgeois Beat
The Sky Drops were one of my favorite bands in 2007. The Delaware, Wilmington duo of Rob Montejo (Smashing Orange) and Monika Bullette sound a little bit like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club; Montejo’s guitar play reminds me of Bob Mould’s work with Husker Du.
Check out “Hang On” and “Green To Red” from their EP Clouds of People. Their new album titled Bourgeois Beat, will be released later on this year.
