Alison Mosshart Of The Kills Passing Out @ Lollapalooza ‘08 (Image – Rollo & Grady)

Alison Mosshart of The Kills was rushed to hospital after falling ill during a show last night at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colorado. VV is said to have required treatment after complaining of shortness of breath, as a result of a cold and altitude sickness.

Mosshart was released from the hospital and she is expected to resume their North American tour as planned. I imagine Coachella’s heat didn’t help her health. She also collapsed during her set at Lollapalooza last year (see above).

sorry i left i the stage earlier than planned. my lungs closed and suddenly i couldn’t breathe. it happened repeatedly for the rest of the night. fits of choking. spent a good three hours at the hospital trying to stop choking. not the kind of night i had planned! thank you to all of you who were concerned. i really appreciate it! i will be fine! x x x vv
