Jessica Lea Mayfield
I’m excited that I have the opportunity to interview Jessica Lea Mayfield this afternoon. She has been touring with the Black Keys in the UK and is preparing to do a couple gigs with The Avett Brothers at the end of the month. Her song “Bible Days” from her phenomenal album With Blasphemy So Heartfelt was featured in an episode of CSI NY. The song was played in a scene with Lieutenant Dan.

I like Neko Case. But I’m not in love with her music. Her cover of Waits’ Christmas Card From A Hooker From Minneapolis is excellent.
