Rollo & Grady Sessions :: Lord Huron

Rollo & Grady is excited to announce a new feature for our site: Rollo & Grady Sessions, in which we film our favorite artists performing live in intimate locations in Los Angeles. We’ve been exploring recording live music sessions over the past couple of years; the project finally came together when we partnered with film and commercial director Carter Baldwin and music and film editor Ryan Linehan. Together, the two have over twenty years’ combined experience in the business, which shows in the sessions we recorded. These guys are extremely talented professionals with whom we’re very proud to be working on the sessions.

For our first session, we choose local band Lord Huron. The group is led by Ben Schneider, who is originally from Michigan; Lord Huron came onto the scene back in June 2010, immediately garnering praise from top music blogs, print publications, and indie radio stations. Since then, they have toured across the country and recently landed choice slots at Lollapalooza and Outside Lands. For our session, the band performed two incredible new songs, “She Lit A Fire” and “Man Who Lives Forever”, plus their hit song, “The Stranger.” We are going to share two videos today and release “Man Who Lives Forever” in two weeks. We hope you enjoy.
