New Band Of Horses Song // Older

Band of Horses lead-singer and South Carolinian Ben Bridwell refers to his bands style of music as “Y’allternative”. Their new song “Older” written and performed by keyboardist Ryan Monroe definitely embraces the “Y’all” part of the term. And I love it.
They debut the song last year at The Earl in Atlanta on December 28th. I was fortunate enough to catch the show. The Earl is a tiny club that holds roughly 112 people. I don’t know how the hell the band even fit on the stage. It’s crazy, the month before I caught their sold out show at The Avalon in Los Angeles, capacity of 1500.
I recently read an article quoting Bridwell as saying that the band has already written the basic demos for the next album. No word when they will go into the studio to record.
