Knocked Up // BJ

Knocked Up // BJ

Knocked Up had the opportunity to be a cool soundtrack, but they chose to go with all Loudon Wainwright III material instead. It was obviously a money issue, though I think they could have made it back by putting the following songs on the soundtrack:

Rollo & Grady Unofficial Knocked Up Soundtrack:

Ol’ Dirty Bastard – Shimmy Shimmy Ya (Excellent scene in the movie)
Matisyahu – King without a Crown
B-52’s – Rock Lobster
Sublime – Santeria
Uncle Tupelo – Sandusky
The Clash – Police on My Back
Bob Dylan – All Along the Watchtower
Augustus Pablo – Keep on Dubbing
Beck – Girl
Terence Trent Drby – Wishing Well
Bob Marley – Put It On
The Scorpions – Rock You Like A Hurricane

Using Loudon Wainwright III wasn’t (necessarily) a money issue. Apatow has worked with LWIII since Undeclared (and maybe Freaks and Geeks; I’m not sure). LWIII even had a regular role on Undeclared.
