A couple weeks ago a friend of mine emailed me a song “I’m Walking This Road Because You Stole My Car (Don’t Go)” by Los Angeles singer-songwriter Alanna Lin. For whatever reason I’ve been putting off posting it and then last night I got scooped by Fox’s American Dad. The animated series featured the entire song in the “Choosey Wives Choose Smith” episode.
I emailed Alanna today to ask her permission to post the song. She informed me that’s the only track that she currently selling, but she would send me an edited version. The song broke the top 35 of Amazon’s best-sellers list today. Alanna also received over 6,200 visits to her Myspace page. It’s well deserved attention for the up and coming artist. She reminds me a little bit of Feist.

:/ I heard this song on American Dad and i’ve been looking ever since for it. I want to buy it at amazon , but because i live i europe i can’t :/
Any other way to get this song ? Like i said i’ll happily pay for it, but amazon doesn’t let me

Its funny but I just heard the song on American Dad also and a search lead me here. Wasnt expecting be struck by a song like this. Definately hoping to hear more from Fascinoma!

I saw it on American Dad and have been looking all over for it!! She has an amazing tone and such a pretty voice!

I heard this song on the episode of American Dad, and I loved it. I actually thought it was “Feist” and I tried to google it and had no luck. I was so ticked off because I didnt think I would get to hear the song again. Then I googled “American Dad episode song ‘dont go’” and it actually came up!!! I was so freaking happy that I found it, its a great song. I never heard of this artist before but now im out buying her CD. Who knew you could hear a song like that on American Dad?

hmm, wah this song was really damn touching on American dad. was well planned and somehow it urged me to search this song out =P her voice’s just so sweet and makes me float !

Alanna is a big talent. She is working on a new album. I will keep you posted.
The guys behind American Dad have great music taste. I’m glad they are getting recognized for their efforts.
