Entourage is killing it this season. The writers and actors are hitting their stride; even Vince is likeable. The casting directors were the true stars of last night’s episode. Guest star Eric Roberts playing the role of the mushroom dealer was genius. He joins the ranks of Hollywood wackos, Gary Busey, Val Kilmer and James Woods of stars that have made memorable cameos in the HBO series.
Family Guy creator Seth Macfarlane has a set of brass balls. He based last night’s entire episode on The Trashmen single “Surfin’ Bird” and Jesus’ Resurrection from the dead as an used record store employee. I imagine some people hated it, but you cannot overlook his homage to Office Space when Stewie and Brian smash the 45rpm “Surfin’ Bird” single. Bravo.
