Eddy Grant // Electric Avenue (Remix)
It’s hard to rank the early 80’s hits. Eddy Grant’s “Electric Avenue” is definitely in my Top 10.“Funky Town” – Lipps Inc., “Cars” – Gary Numan, “Who Can It Be Now?”- Men At Work , “Come On Eileen” – Dexy’s Midnight Runners, “She Blinded Me With Science” - Thomas Dolby, “The Safety Dance” – Men Without Hats, Wall of Voodoo – “Mexican Radio”, Modern English – “I’II Stop the World and Melt With You” and Madness – “Our House” round out the Top 10.
“Electric Avenue” was both a UK and US number 2 hit single in 1983, selling over a million copies. The remix of the song was a UK Top Ten hit again in 2001.

Dudes,
Come on.
You got ‘Come On Eileen’ and ‘Our House’.
The rest is a big load of bolllocks. Too much California Revisionist Marijuana, I suppose.
Try again.
