I agree with you CD. I think that Jack Black has done so many shitty movies that people forget that Tenacious D is actually a talented band.

While i’m admittedly not a M.I.A. fan, and the D and Beasties are worlds apart, have you seen the D rock a house? Sure, it’s joke-rock, but they put on one helluva stage show. i wouldn’t sleep on them quite so quickly, folks.

Tenacious D has the only non-overlapping set of the entire festival. The fact that they are headlining is a joke and she’s totally justified to pissed off. I’m glad at least somebody said something about it.

I’m a huge fan of M.I.A. She has a point that Tenacious D is not in her league. As a Beastie Boys fan, I’m pissed they replaced them with Tenacious D. M.I.A. needs to keep it in-house, and quit bitching about it on Twitter.
