this is bittersweet news, excited about the album, disheartened about Bimbo’s…stupid 21+ venues.

i just stumbled upon your site about a week ago and keep coming back daily. You posts the good, good stuff, eh?

But no love for the opening night of Dan’s tour in DC at the 9:30 Club on Feb. 28? For shame on y’all. i’ve already got my tix and will be there with my bushy beard (as all good BK fans wear).

  4. CD Says:

Apropos of not much of anything, what’s the likelihood of you reposting that Keys’ Live on Canal show you had up a while back?

i do loves me some ol’ archives.

  5. DeanMoriarty Says:

I love Bimbo’s. The El Rey is a great venue too. My favorite in town. Hacienda is worth checking out. They have a Beach Boy sound. Should be interesting.

i’m guessing you’d think differently about posting those live shows if i was Black Belt Ninja Master Stephen Hayes, but i dig where you’re coming from.

i still find myself falling in love w/ the site, though, so there you have it.

  12. rollogrady Says:

Thanks CD. I’ve got a ton of Black Keys material to post.

  15. DeanMoriarty Says:

whats up with ticketmasters 8.50 “convenience charge” + 2.50 building fee?
thats like a 12er of highlife and a half pound del taco burrito.

  16. rollogrady Says:

Can you believe that shit? $2.50 to print out the paper ticket. Highway robbery.
