Californication // New Season (9/28)
I just finished watching a rerun of the pilot episode of Showtime’s hit series Californication. I was never an X-Files fan, but David Duchovny crushes his role as troubled novelist, Hank Moody. The portrayal earned him a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Comedy or Musical last year.
The pilot begins with the Stones’ “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” and they use My Morning Jacket’s “Rocket Man” for the closing credits (see You Tube Clip Below). That’s reason enough to watch the show. The new season begins on September 28th.
