Here’s a new Bon Iver song ‘Blood Bank” off of his forthcoming EP of the same name [Pre-order from Jagjaguwar]. The song sounds similar to his work on ‘For Emma, Forever Ago‘. Bon is performing several shows in late December including an appearance on Letterman December 11th.

Am I the only one who really loves the live versions I’ve heard of this song but am not exactly impressed by the studio one so far? I’m sure it’ll grow on me, but the full band version is pretty great. That said, Bon Iver is fantastic.

Love the new single. Thanks for all the music so far! Amazed when I saw you on Jools Holland, so much so I had to go out and buy your album the very next morning. For Emma, Forever Ago helped me get over a broken heart and it’s still my cd of choice all these months later. Can’t wait to see you in London. Thanks again, John
