I should have commented at the time, but I’ve had some time to really listen to the title track and… I dig the live version from SXSW much more. It pops more. Some of the piano playing and vocal harmony stuff that I dug so much with the live version are missing, and that’s sad cause I think it’s a really great tune in general. I hope the rest of the album picks up the energy level.
