We previously featured TV Torso as an artist to watch at SXSW, but we feel that the Austin trio of Jordan Johns (drums and percussion), Austin Jones (bass, vocals) and Matt Oliver (vocals, guitar) deserve a post of their own. While some critics focus on Oliver and Johns’ previous band Sound Team, TV Torso is quietly making a name for themselves. We also love the fact that they refuse to create a Myspace page, they prefer the term “YouFace.” The band has recorded a ton of tracks, but they haven’t set a release date for their debut album.
