2009 Langerado Music Festival // Canceled
Sign of the times? Will prices come down or will there be fewer festivals in 2009? I imagine we will see both happen. At least Bonnaroo and Coachella are safe. Coachella is currently offering a layaway ticket option.
“The 2009 Langerado Music Festival has been canceled. The unfortunate news comes directly from the people behind the Langerado Music Festival, who say that low ticket sales is serving as 2009 Langerado Music Festival Has Been Canceled; Tickets to Be Refunded the main culprit to this announcement. The concert promoters have said that all tickets purchases will be refunded, and that they hope to have all refunds processed within the next 5 to 7 business days. An e-mail denoting the process, and how the refund will occur will be going out to purchasers from Musictoday.com.
Some of the people who were scheduled to appear at the Langerado Music Festival in 2009 included Death Cab for Cutie, Snoop Dogg, Modest Mouse, Ryan Adams, Deerhunter, and Thievery Corporation. There were also expected to be many additional acts performing at the 3-day festival, but it looks like now they won’t be attending. With album sales as well as ticket sales down overall around the country, this was a festival that looked like it could have a tough time selling tickets right now, and unfortunately had to be canceled as a result.” Continue Reading
